A success for GRIVEN first presence at the Professional Lighting Design Convention
This year all the light planning and designing professions came together at the Professional Lighting Design Convention (PLDC), which was held from November, 1 to 4 in Paris. GRIVEN featured for the first time as a Silver Sponsor on a joint stand along with its sister companies WILA, LAMP Lighting and .hess, in order to get in a closer contact with the lighting designers’ world.
On its exhibition space GRIVEN displayed an innovative multimedia lighting concept, where light and sound interacted to create an appealing and surprising form of “architainment”. The guests were invited to “DREAM OUT LOUD”, as the slogan declared, and trigger colour changing sequences and light shows on the walls and on the floor by improvising their favourite tunes on the spot. The smart lighting set-up actively reacted to their voice input and redefined always in different combinations the pixel lighting emission of the multimedia solutions.
PLDC was the occasion to premiere the brand new LED image projector GoboLED 7-Pro, which is now in its final testing phase and will be ready for the market in February 2018. Brighter than a traditional 575W discharge lamp projector and packed with multiple animation effects and patterns, GOBOLED 7-Pro will be able to offer broad creative design integration for permanent exterior installations projecting a bright and accurate rendition of graphics in outdoor and indoor locations.
The GRIVEN’s team in Paris was very pleased to discuss with the lighting designers and professionals who visited the stand their ideas and concepts on site and to network with them. Many were those who enjoyed the opportunity to let themselves go with pyrotechnical performances and funny displays for a full interactive experience.
