Autumn in… GRIVEN
These last three months have been very busy for GRIVEN, which took part in many of the most relevant international exhibitions of this fervid autumn, in cooperation either with its distribution partners or sister companies of the Nordeon-Group. The recent synergy with the group has been a real success as it allowed to concentrate multiple efforts towards a unique target. With their comprehensive product and solutions portfolio, .hess, Vulkan and GRIVEN can offer architects, planners and lighting designers the utmost flexibility for the implementation of their creative ideas. This winning pool of complementary companies can provide one-stop-shop solutions for architectural urban spaces, including also comprehensive advice and project service.
A great success was registered by GRIVEN - outstandingly supported by the organization and on-site presence of .hess delegate for the UK Jim Ashley-Down - at the Darc Night awards ceremony, which took place in London onSeptember, 24. The creative light installation conceived by Paul Nulty Lighting Design, “The wave pool”, turned out to be the main attraction of the event with its multi-sensorial appeal. The pool was filled with opal plastic balls that reflected the coloured light flowing from the top to the bottom of the structure with a dynamic colour changing alternation. The ball pit stimulated the viewers to interact with its elements exploring how they were impacted by their own perceptions, imagination and changing visual perspectives, while enjoying a pleasant swim in light.
Held at Houten Expo (The Netherlands) on October, 7-8, the 2015 edition of the “Dag van de openbare Ruimte” saw the joint participation of GRIVEN, .hess and Vulkan focusing together towards a target of architects, engineers and consultants specialized in lighting and furnishing for public spaces. In cooperation with the Dutch distributor IndustrieLicht BV, all novelties were displayed to grab the attention of professionals of public areas towards a comprehensive, eco-friendly and highly reliable product assortment.
Meanwhile in Dubai, on the occasion of Light Middle East 2015, where GRIVEN was represented by its Director of Sales & Marketing, Mr Danilo Bettinazzi, Nouran Concept Lighting was awarded the prestigious“Innovative Lighting Project of the Year” prize with reference to the installation at the Prime Tower of Dubai, mainly based on GRIVEN multimedia LED fixtures. At the conclusion of the exhibition, during a glittering awards ceremony, the prestigious prize was handed over to the proud representatives of Nouran Concept Lighting, a further evidence of the long-term win-win cooperation between Nouran and GRIVEN.
Owing to the relationship with .hess, Professional Lighting Design Conference Silver sponsor, GRIVEN has successfully approached for the first time this worldwide recognized event, which was held in Rome fromOctober 28 to 31. Besides the many themed meetings, lighting designers, specifiers, architects and city planners coming from all over the world could also enjoy different aspects of light and lighting, for instance through the “Experience room” set up by .hess on its dedicated space. GRIVEN presence at this event and at the conclusive gala dinner is just a confirmation of our intention to further improve and expand our cooperation with the lighting designers’ community.
As every year, GRIVEN’s exclusive distributor for Russia, DSL Company, took part in Interlight Moscow - which was held in the Russian capital city from November, 10 to 13 - putting on display GRIVEN’s latest product novelties. As an international trade fair for decorative and technical lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation, Interlight Moscow is the most important B2B platform for producers, architects, engineers, designers, lighting wholesalers and distributors in Russia and CIS and represents an excellent source of new contacts for the already well developed GRIVEN business in this area.
On the occasion of the 2015 edition of the AVL Open Day held at Belexpo Center in Belgrade on November, 12, a theme presentation of GRIVEN products was dedicated to the local customer base, emphasizing the lighting fixtures used in commercial and public installations, hospitality, sports facilities, landscaping and architectural urban functional and decorative illumination. This open day organized by AVL Project has succeeded in drawing the attention of broadcasting and rental companies, educational institutions, local municipalities and government delegates, independent consultants and private engineers towards GRIVEN’s comprehensive and professional lighting solutions.
Last but not least, Lightspace.london has successfully concluded the rich and lively exhibitions season of this autumn. Co-located with LuxLive 2015, Lightspace.london featured two days of inspirational speakers onNovember, 18 and 19 alongside a curated exhibition of innovations from the leading lighting marques. As a member of the Nordeon-Group, GRIVEN displayed at the London Excel venue a selection of its LED lighting fixtures along with the German sister company .hess for a wide audience of leading thinkers, including architects, lighting designers and artists eager to explore how lighting can help reinterpret the built environment. The versatile product and solution portfolio by .hess and Griven is capable of offering architects and lighting designers great flexibility for the attractive illumination and design of public spaces and objects.
