GRIVEN - Proud to live in a well lit world
It's time to take stock as the year ends. Looking back at all the projects finalized with our lighting fixtures in 2012, we are really proud to have been able to supply the most different architectural projects with our high quality, custom-tailored products. Based on the highest design, efficiency and flexibility standards, our luminaires deliver a combination of sustainability and performance, customization and reliability, now highly required by each and every lighting installation. During this year, our functional or decorative fittings have been specified in distinct urban contexts, always keeping up with the most challenging technical and planning requirements.
Historical and contemporary city landmarks, such as the Four Courts in Dublin (Ireland), Baku Flame Tower and Post Building (Azerbaijan), the National Museum in Warsaw (Poland) and the History Museum in Astana (Kazakhstan), the new Airport Terminal in Jeddah as well as the King Saud University in Riyadh (KSA), along with Moscow City Hall and Arbat Street (Russia), have been lit up by our fixtures becoming a true eye-catching addition to their own cityscape.
Throughout 2012, our lighting systems have also been extended to big-league sport facilities, like the amazing Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), whose original architectural features have been extraordinarily enhanced by our LED colour changers, or the Ice Palace and Basket Hall in Krasnodar (Russia), proper witnesses of our technical eclecticism. As a part of newly conceived metropolitan illumination concepts, these sport facilities offer unforgettable emotions owing to a perfect blend of light and architecture.
Within the huge retail market, shopping malls like the brand new Sony Store in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), the Mode&Maison factory outlet in Velizy-Villacoubay (France) and Baku outstanding, avant-garde architecture of the Metropark Shopping Center (Azerbaijan) have doubtlessly enriched the shopping experience of eager consumers with vibrant colour hues.
The dynamically colourful illumination of dazzling bridges architecture, such as PGE Arena bridge in Danzig (Poland) or the Second Dolsan Bridge in Yeosu (South Korea) are symbols of an increasingly spreading trend that promotes the improvement of the environmental conditions of modern cities and their suburban areas through the usage of eco-friendly light equipment.
Moreover, our entertainment industry knowhow led us to implement high performance fixtures for the most attractive shows and live performances, such as The Big O Show in Yeosu (South Korea), the multi-media spectacle at the Shezhen OCT Bay (China) and the amazing performance of the Gardens by the Bay Supertrees (Singapore), not to mention the sound and light show at the Grottes de Chorance (France) that offers a breathtaking view of underground beauty.
Last but not least, we have also provided the renowned Scandic hotel chain both in Tampere and Lahti (Finland) either with indoor or outdoor solutions, proving once again the utmost flexibility of our product range.
A propos, we would like to seize this occasion to inform you that, with the new year, our innovative line of energy-efficient LED lighting fittings for interior lighting design will be fully available. The comprehensive collection includes wall and ceiling recessed luminaires, suspended downlights, spotlights and wall and ceiling mount fittings. Offering interior designers and architects the opportunity of crafting manifold combinations, this selection of highly versatile products will support comfortable design and boundless creativity.
Our continued cooperation with the most renowned lighting designers and architects of different cultural backgrounds - in combination with full information and support guaranteed by a consolidated and growing network of highly professional and skilled distributors and dealers - has become an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the development of functional or decorative custom-made quality products that help re-define the space we live in with eco-friendly and energy saving solutions. We are really proud to live in a well lit world we have contributed to.
