Kuwait - GRIVEN at the OCA inauguration ceremony
Eighty KOLORADO MK3 2500 units have been used for various live performances at the prestigious Grand Opening ceremonies of the Olympic Council of Asia Headquarters. These mighty colour changing fixtures were placed on the floor of each of the two different levels and on the top of the two towers of the OCA Headquarters in order to deliver a dynamic lighting show and create the ideal live backdrop for such top level celebrations.
The OCA was formed in 1982 and has its permanent headquarters in Kuwait. The main objective of the Olympic Council of Asia is to develop sport, culture and education of Asian youth and to promote international respect, friendship, goodwill & peace through sports. The OCA has successfully organized the Asian Games, the Asian Winter Games, the Asian Indoor Games and the Asian Beach Games and is proactive in promoting sports in Asia through various activities. Over 1000 special guests were present at the inauguration ceremony, including world sport leaders, presidents of National Olympic Committees and many sport authorities and ministers coming from various Asian countries.
With its newly conceived patented optical system, KOLORADO MK3 2500 is capable of offering an extremely powerful light output, giving the ability to cover great areas or distances with a uniform colour coverage and an astonishing final effect.
