UAE - The Dubai Mall: Made to amaze
With more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions, the renowned Dubai Mall offers eager visitors and “aficionados” more than a simple shopping experience, being a leisure and entertainment destination for the whole family.
Beside an array of fashion shopping centres and outlets, first class boutiques, markets, fine dining restaurants and world class food courts, the Dubai Mall also features the region’s first SEGA indoor theme park, a 22-screen cinema, a fantasy city dedicated to children called KIDzania, an observation deck at Buri Dubai located on the 124th floor of the tallest tower of the world, a huge Aquarium & underwater Zoo and Dubai’s first Olympic-size ice rink.
Fountains are also part of this comprehensive entertainment programme, their gorgeous games of water and light always ready to surprise visitors with stunning performances. 34 Pantheon OS CYM 400 by GRIVEN have been installed on one of the main sides of the two twin fountains, which are located at the very centre of this huge shopping mall, just in front of the Cartier jewellery. These CYM lighting fixtures provide a smooth-fading colour changing effect to the shallow, waving waters of these fountains, theatrically enhancing their slow motion movements.
GRIVEN’s PANTHEON OS CYM 400 is equipped with an optical system that produces a long throw beam of approximately 24°, whereas alternative beam angles can be achieved by a complete range of optional expansion filters. The high IP65 rating against water and dust ingress means that the unit is suitable for virtually any exterior or interior application and can be mounted in any orientation. The colour mixing system with cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters creates virtually unlimited colour hues, coupled with smooth blends between colour changes.
